The NGO coalition “Living Rivers Europe” is reaching out to EU water directors

Living Rivers Europe calls, in particular, for strengthening the river restoration measures outlined in the draft national restoration plans in order to fully capitalize on the opportunities offered by the new Nature Restoration Regulation, with the goal of restoring at least 25,000 km of free-flowing rivers throughout the European Union by 2030.

In addition, it expresses its position on permits in the mining sector, the “groundwater” component, the Fertilizer Action Plan, and the Commission’s announcement aimed at relaxing limits on manure.
