Open Rivers Programme: Autumn call for proposals opens on 19 October

The Open Rivers Programme’s new call for proposals will be open from 19 October until 13 November. This programme funds the removal of weirs and transverse dams across Europe*. Its targets by 2029 are: 500 structures removed in Europe and 5,000 km of watercourses reconnected thanks to its financial support.
Our association, ERN, has already contributed to the completion of around ten projects across France by supporting applications to the Open Rivers Programme. Find out more
