Le bassin versant du Poyat est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9duit : environ 5 km\u00b2 pour environ 3 kilom\u00e8tres de cours d\u2019eau.<br \/>\nCe secteur (bassin versant du ruisseau de Fontbonne) abrite l\u2019\u00e9crevisse \u00e0 pattes blanches (Austropotamobius pallipes, class\u00e9e en danger par l\u2019UICN). Ces populations sont exceptionnelles dans le d\u00e9partement.<\/p>\n<p>Des travaux de restauration ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en aval du ruisseau de Poyat et sur la Fontbonne pour restaurer des habitats favorables \u00e0 l\u2019esp\u00e8ce et permettre la recolonisation des cours d\u2019eau (suppression d\u2019un \u00e9tang et restauration hydro-morphologique du cours d\u2019eau, projet de restauration de ponceau pour la continuit\u00e9 \u00e9cologique, restauration de berges par techniques v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et pose de cl\u00f4tures).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-2xeg8ia-887e515c8bdc1798f8b81a687576710d\">\n#top .hr.hr-invisible.av-2xeg8ia-887e515c8bdc1798f8b81a687576710d{\nheight:50px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='hr av-2xeg8ia-887e515c8bdc1798f8b81a687576710d hr-invisible  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-m6kl258b-c98fc54667ba8d1411095ceed7455c6e '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>OBJECTIF DU PROJET<\/h3>\n<p>Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le cours d&rsquo;eau du Poyat \u00e9tait perch\u00e9 sur le versant ouest avec un trac\u00e9 rectiligne, cloisonn\u00e9 par deux ouvrages infranchissables. Ces deux ouvrages sont les derniers obstacles en amont du cours principal du Poyat. La remise du cours d&rsquo;eau dans son lit d&rsquo;origine et la suppression des deux ouvrages permettra de rouvrir le cours d\u2019eau jusqu\u2019aux sources, permettant potentiellement la recolonisation par l\u2019\u00e9crevisse \u00e0 pattes blanches. La Poyat pr\u00e9sente des d\u00e9bits d\u2019\u00e9tiage relativement soutenus, ce qui en fait une zone de refuge importante en \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet consiste \u00e9galement \u00e0 restaurer le cours d&rsquo;eau dans son talweg d&rsquo;origine, am\u00e9liorant ainsi la dynamique de l&rsquo;alternance des faci\u00e8s d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement et augmentant et am\u00e9liorant les habitats des poissons.<\/p>\n<p>Cela permettra \u00e9galement de reconnecter le cours d&rsquo;eau \u00e0 la zone humide de basse altitude pr\u00e9sente sur le site, ce qui renforcera l&rsquo;hydrologie locale, en particulier pendant les p\u00e9riodes d&rsquo;\u00e9tiage s\u00e9v\u00e8re.
