Le site \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s actif d&rsquo;un point de vue g\u00e9omorphologique (forte divagation), le lit avait \u00e9t\u00e9 stabilis\u00e9 par la construction d&rsquo;une assise en b\u00e9ton de plusieurs dizaines de m\u00e8tres le long de la rive gauche de l&rsquo;affluent.<\/p>\n<p>Cette construction a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9mantel\u00e9e. Le canal parall\u00e8le \u00e0 la Loire, qui servait jadis \u00e0 amener l&rsquo;eau \u00e0 l&rsquo;usine situ\u00e9e quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres en aval, a \u00e9t\u00e9 en partie combl\u00e9. Le canal de fuite (en aval de l&rsquo;usine) a quant \u00e0 lui \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9. Ce d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement est tr\u00e8s symbolique car la structure a marqu\u00e9 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans le bassin du Puy \u00e0 la fin du 19\u00e8me
